Meet RVS
RobotVisionSuite (RVS) is a 3D machine vision development platform developed by Percipio. In RVS, 3D vision operators can be written as nodes for subsequent development, and each operator Node can be connected and nested into groups in the software platform to form a complete project program flow. The existing operators can be used to quickly build projects, verify the feasibility of projects, and develop prototype programs for customers to test. In order to facilitate users to get started quickly, Percipio has now reserved a large number of commonly used nodes, including Percipio 3D camera SDK call nodes, commonly used 2D&3D graphics and image processing nodes, commonly used industrial robot interface nodes, vision calibration and hand-eye calibration nodes, communication nodes, image deep learning training and reasoning nodes, etc. The results of node operations (strings, images, point clouds, position gestures, etc.) can be visualized in RVS.
Since the ability to perform image deep learning and use large-scale point cloud visualization has certain requirements for device configuration, RVS has launched GPU and CPU versions. The RVS CPU version and the GPU version differ only in the AI inference training module, and the rest of the functions are exactly the same. The GPU version is better for the AI reasoning training module, but the hard disk takes up more space.
In addition, in order to facilitate secondary development, RVS supports GPU and CPU versions of docker image installation. Users can compile pluginnodes in the docker platform and import them into the operator library of the software for subsequent use.
