Calibration Board Types and Specifications

RVS 2.0 currently supports two types of calibration boards: Checkerboard Calibration Board and RCCB Calibration Board.

Checkerboard Calibration Board

The checkerboard calibration board is only applicable when the camera can output color images.

The checkerboard calibration board needs to be prepared by the user and must meet the following requirements:

Specification	Requirements
Inner corners	Minimum 11 x 8
Square size	20mm ≤ square size ≤ 60mm
Accuracy	≤ 0.02mm
Material	Non-reflective surface material. Can use aluminum oxide, acrylic, glass, etc. Aluminum oxide is recommended.
Installation	The user needs to consider how to install it on the robot end axis. Calibration boards with mounting holes can be purchased.

RCCB Calibration Board

The RCCB calibration board is independently developed by Percipio Technology Limited and is an optional accessory for cameras. To purchase, please contact Percipio technical support.

This series of calibration boards supports hand-eye calibration in multiple image modes and has no requirements on the image type output by the camera.

This series includes the following models: RCCB-28, RCCB-54, RCCB-88, RCCB-140.

RCCB-28
