Create Object Model

Function Description

This Step can automatically generate point clouds of different shapes by specifying the “Model Type”.

Use Cases

This Step is used to automatically generate point clouds of specified shapes that can be used as point cloud models.

Input

  • Sampling Interval (Optional): Defines the sampling interval for downsampling point cloud (in mm).

  • Circle Radius (Optional): Defines the radius of the circle (in mm).

  • Cylinder Height (Optional): Defines the height of the cylinder (in mm).

  • Cylinder Radius (Optional): Defines the radius of the cylinder (in mm).

  • Rectangle Length (Optional): Defines the length of the rectangle (in mm).

  • Rectangle Width (Optional): Defines the width of the rectangle (in mm).

  • Inner Radius (Optional): Defines the inner radius of the ring (in mm).

  • Outer Radius (Optional): Defines the outer radius of the ring (in mm).

Note

The input ports of this Step vary based on the “Object Type”. All input ports are optional. Point cloud model information can be set either through input ports or through step parameters.

Output

  • Point Cloud Model: Output model point cloud.

Parameters

Object Type

Used to select the type of object to create. There are four types:

  • Circle: Creates a point cloud model of a circle.

  • Cylinder Curved Surface: Creates a point cloud model of a cylinder side.

  • Rectangle: Creates a point cloud model of a rectangle.

  • Single Ring: Creates a point cloud model of a single ring.
